APSIDC was formed on 7-9-1974 with an object to provide
Irrigation facility to the dry lands by constructing the Lift Irrigation
Schemes on streams, rivers, local vagu and canals digging of bore wells
and infiltration well to benefit the Small and Marginal farmers of SC,
ST, BC families up lifting of down trodden and increase in Agricultural
production is the main object of APSIDC.
COMMISSIONED SCHEMES :
36 L.I.Schemes have been commissioned by APSIDC in Nizamabad
District with a financial out lay of Rs.73.229 crores to irrigate 47,707
acres of ayacut. During Khariff 2009 – 28150 acres have been developed.
ON GOING L.I.SCHEMES :
10 L.I.Schemes are in execution to irrigate 14890 acres
of ayacut with an estimated cost of Rs.110.82 Crores.
