• In the district 67 Hostels (52 Boys including (2) Anandanilayams 15 Girls Hostels including (1) Anandanilayams) are functioning in this Dist. (6084) boarders are admitted during the year 2006-07. An amount of Rs.525.23 lakhs has been released by the CSW, A.P., Hyd. out of which Rs.504.47 lakhs has been spent so far for maintenance of the Hostels.
• Out of (67) Hostels (17) are Spl. Hostels for 8th to 10th class students. In these Spl. Hostels Tutors for coaching 10th class students in (4) Subjects ie., English, Maths, Science & Hindi appointed with monthly remuneration of Rs.500/- to each Tutor to improve educational standards and achieve good results in 10th class during 2006-2007. In addition to this Patashala monthly magazines are supplied every month, work books, Question Bank, All-in-One also being supplied to all 10th class Students well in advance. Unit tests , Slip tests etc. are being conducted to achieve good results.
• Out of (67) Hosotels (52) Hostels are functioning in Govt.buildings, out of them (46) Govt.buildings are required minor / major repairs, to attend the repairs to buildings an amount of Rs.66.25 Lakhs are required. The proposals have been submitted to the Commissioner of Social Welfare with a request to release the amount.
• An amount of Rs.270.00 Lakhs is required for taken up construction of new buildings to remaining (15) SW. Hostels which are functioning in Private buildings @ 18.00 lakhs for each building.

1.(b) Integrated Hostel Buildings :-

• The Govt.have sanctioned (5) Integrated Hostel buildings to Nizamabad. District, out of them (2) for SCs , (2) for BCs and (1) for STs . Proposals have been submitted to the Govt. for finalization of location.

1 (c) S.C. College Hostels :-

(2) Boys and (3) Girls College Hostels are functioning at the following places.

With total strength (450) students.

3. College Boy Hostel at Kamareddy
4. College Girls Hostel at Kamareddy
5. College Girls Hostel at Nizamabad (Newly sanctioned during the year 2006-2007

1 ( d) RESULTS :-

• During the year 2005-06 (534) students have appeared for S.S.C. Public examination. Out of which (478) students are passed (1st division 210, 2nd division 155 & 3rd division (113) by achieving 90% (4) Boarders have secured highest marks in the examination. Out of them (2) students have been given Certificate & Mementos by the Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development and Hon'ble Minister for Power on 13th May'2006 on the occasion of completion of (2) years by the Govt.

1.POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS :-

• During the year 2006-2007 the Commissioner of Social Welfare, has released an amount of Rs.491.97 lakhs towards sanction of maintenance charges and feeses arrears of students during 2005-06 and maintenance charges to renewal students of 2006-2007. Out of which an amount of Rs.364.64 lakhs towards arrears of (8437) students of 2005-2006 and maintenance charges upto March 2007 to (4012) Renewal students of 2006-2007, the balance amount of Rs.127.33 Lakhs will be spent towards sanction of Scholarships to fresh students of 2006-07. Further an amount of Rs.200.00 Lakhs are required for sanction of Feeses to Renewal and Fresh Students of 2006-07.

2. PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS TO SC BRIGHT STUDENTS:

• (75) bright students are admitted in the (6) best available schools.
• During the year 2006-07 the Commissioner of Social Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad has released an amount of Rs.14.82 lakhs has been spent, further an amount of Rs.7.05 Lakhs are required for sanction of Scholarships upto March 2007.

4. PREMATRIC S/SHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF THOSE ENGAGED UN-CLEAN OCCUPATION.

• During the year 2006-2007 the CSW, A.P., Hyd. Has released an amount of Rs.1.00 lakh. Out of which an amount of Rs.76,500/- was spent towards sanction of pre-matric S/Ships to (75) students.

5. INCENTIVE CASH AWARD :-

• During the year 2006-07 CSW, A.P. Hyd. Has released an amount of Rs.2.20 lakhs. Out of which an amount of Rs.2.00 lakhs has been sanctioned to (20) Inter Caste Married couples @ Rs.10000/- each.

6. TRAINING TO SC ADVOCATES :-

• Under the scheme of training to S.C. Advocates, (4) selected S.C. Advocates during the year 2005-06 are under going training in Administration of Justice. Duration of training period is (3) years. The selected candidates are attached to the LAW Officers with in this district (Govt. Pleader, Public Prosecutor & Asst. Public prosecutor of district Courts, Mobile courts and Session Courts). They are being paid stipend @ Rs.5.00/- per month for 3 years and reimbursement of enrolment fee of Rs.585/- and Rs.3000/- towards purchase of books and furniture (one time). No applications from SC advocates for 2006-07 are received for starting the batch.During the year 2006-07 CSW, A.P., Hyd. has released an amount of Rs.38,000/- out of which an amount of Rs.35,000/- has been spent towards sanction of stipend to (8) SC Advocates. Further an amount of Rs.30,000/- are required for sanction of Stipends up to March 2007.
