To reduce the Infant Mortality Rate from the existing 59 to 25 per 1000 Live Births

To Reduce the Maternal Mortality rate from the existing 341 to 80 per 1 lakh Live Births.
Ø
To Reduce the Neo Natal Mortality Rate from the Existing 44 to 20 per 1000 Live Births.
Ø
To Increase the Institutional Deliveries 63.5 % to 95 %.

CAUSE OF BLINDNESS INCIDENCE 1.5 % IN THE DISTRICT

Ø Cataract
Ø   Refractive Errors
Ø Congenital Eyeball abnormalities
Ø  Genetic diseases
Ø Trauma to Eyes leading to corneal blindness
Ø Glaucoma

To Bring down the above incidence to 0.5 % action to be taken are

Ø Intensive camp organization to treat the cataract
Ø Intensive screening for refractive errors and provide the free spectacles to the needy.
Ø   To Bring the awareness about the Eye diseases
Ø Improve Eye donations.
