The Government of Andhra Pradesh have launched massive Housing Programme namely INDIRAMMA Housing Programme in the year 2006 in-order to provide Pucca House to all the house holds without a permanent house in saturation approach by covering all Gram Panchayaths / Municipal wards in three phases in Rural and Urban areas, irrespective of the Caste, Religions or political affiliation. This housing Programme has been implemented in online system, the site is www.housing.ap.gov.in .
Under Indiramma Housing Programme 1,54,145 houses have been sanctioned and so far 97,440 houses have been completed covering all Gram Panchayaths in three years programme.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
All the house holds living in :-
a) Kacha House
b) Joint Family living in Katcha House
c) Living in houses which is in dilapidated condition
d) Huts
e) Rented Houses
f) Annual Income not more than Rs.18,000/- in Rural Areas and Rs.24,000/- in
Urban Areas
g) Having White Ration Card is a must. Without white ration card no house will
be sanctioned.
SELECTION PROCESS :
Door to Door Survey was conducted to identify eligible beneficiaries : After completion of survey Intinta Indiramma Programme was done wherein the teams visited each house hold listed in the survey and completed documentation by obtaining photograph of existing house, a copy of White Ration Card, Patta or Land Possession Certificates and Mortgage Deeds signed by the eligible beneficiaries.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE :
1 All payments are being directly credited into the individual S.B Accounts
of the beneficiaries opened at Banks / Postal Offices.
2 The Government have
revised the payment procedure and delegated the powers to Dy. Executive Engineers
(H) instead of Assistant Engineers (H) from 01-06-2009 for release of payment
to the beneficiaries through Online basing on the M. Book Recorded by the Assistant
Engineer (H) concerned.
3 The Asst. Engineer (H) concerned has to visit each
Gram Panchayath once in a fortnight as per advance tour Programme
4 The Asst.
Engineer (H) has to go around the village and note down the upgrade stages of
the houses and a resolution has to be obtained from the villagers for effecting
payments and record the bill in the M. Book for the further stage reached houses
and submit the M Book to the Dy. Executive Engineer (H) concerned.
5 The Dy.
Executive Engineer (H) has to generate the bills of the beneficiaries in Online.
6 After the generating the bills , The Project Director (H) has to clear the
payments in Online, and then the Proposals go to Head Office for release of
funds through Online to the accounts of Dy. Executive Engineers (H).
7 The Dy.
Executive Engineer (H) shall transfer the funds through the RTGS to the bank
where the beneficiaries accounts are maintained, for crediting the amount to
the individual beneficiary account.
8 During the second visit to the G.P the
Assistant Engineer (H) inform the beneficiaries about transfer of amount and
issue pay slips to each and every beneficiaries.
INTEGRATED SURVEY :
As per the Government instructions the Integrated Survey has been conducted in all Gram Panchayaths for identification of ineligible beneficiaries under INDIRAMMA Housing Programme. So far (17198) beneficiaries are identified as ineligible by the Integrated Survey Team and communicated beneficiary wise details. Further instructed to conduct Grama Sabhas and read out the ineligible beneficiary list during the Grama Sabhas. 15 days has been given to the beneficiary for submission of their claims to the Tahsildars concerned for finalizing the ineligible beneficiary list and data to be feeded in the Tahsildar Email IDs. The Tahsildhar are being submiiting the petitions/appeals for revoking the data as eligible in online, so far (6110) data was received from Tahsildars.
CEMENT :
Total (35) Godowns were available in the district @ (01) Godown for each mandal for storage of cement onwards to supply to the INDIRAMMA beneficiaries.
BEEDI WORKERS PROGRAMME :
(1652) houses under Beedi Workers 2007-08 Programme and (1920) houses under Beedi Workers 2008-09 Programme and (639) houses under 2010-11 have been sanctioned from the Government of India with the unit cost of Rs.45,000/- (i.e Rs.40,000/- Subsidy & Rs.5,000/- Beneficiary Contribution). Intinta Survey has been completed for all the sanctioned houses and documentation has been completed. The year wise progress of Beedi Workers including previous years are as follows :-

The proposals of (701) Houses for conversion from the Indiramma Housing Programme to Beedi Workers Housing Scheme was submitted to H.O Hyd.
PROJECTS WING : The construction of Indiramma houses in the Lay out colonies in Urban areas are being executed through the Executive Engineer (H) Project who is working under control of the Chief Engineer, APSHCL., Hyderabad.
At present in Nizamabad, Bodhan and Kamareddy Municipalities construction works are in progress.

TARGETS. The target for completion of (8698) houses are fixed for the year 2009-10 out of which (9316) houses completed i.e 107.10%. Similarly (26900) houses are fixed for the year 2010-11. BRIDGE LOAN. The Rs.20,000/- additional loan is providing to the beneficiaries who are in the SHG members in rural area.Similarly Rs.30,000/- additional loan is providing in Urban area for completion of houses in all respects.
