Total Sanitation Campaign ( TSC ) and 50 NGP :

Phase - I & II : A total of 1,52,973 ISLs and 1405 school Toilets have been constructed under TSC Ph-I & II.

HUDCO :

  • A total of 9204 ISLs have been sanctioned for rural houses and completed 6660 Nos. remaining are in progress.

Nirmal Grama Puraskar (NGP) Proposals :

  • 33 Mandal headquarters, 3 villages, and Yedpally total mandal are proposed for Total Sanitation.
  • 15000 ISLs are sanctioned in Indiramma Villages and are in progress.

DRINKING WATER

It is submitted that the Government vide G.O.Ms.No. 481, Dtd.24.04.2006 an amount of Rs.693.00 Lakhs for Rural Drinking water supply and Rs.45.10 lakhs for urban water supply purpose. Accordingly the following amounts have been released the follow :

1. S.E., RWS, Nizamabad Rs. 5,90,56,000/- (UCs not received)
2. MRO, Madnoor Rs. 7,600/- - do -
  Total Rs. 5,90,63,600/-  
3. Balance amount available with Dist. Admin. Rs. 1,02,36,400/-  
  Grand Total Rs. 6,93,00,000/-  

With reference to Urban Drinking water supply the following amounts have been released a shown below.

1. Municipal Commissioner, Nizamabad Rs. 40,78,000/- (UCs not received)
2. Municipal Commissioner, Bodhan Rs. 4,32,000/- UCs received
  Total : Rs. 45,10,000/-  

It is also submitted that the Government vide G.O.Rt.No.675, dated 08.06.2006 for an amount of Rs.207.00 lakhs have been released towards Rural Water Supply for clearing the pending bills.

In this connection SE(RWS), Nizamabad has been requested to offer remarks into the matter vide this office reference dtd. 22.06.2006 but so far no report has been received from him and the such amount not been drawn.
